// join the foundry
We're building ventures. Come build with us.
We're looking for exceptional people who want to do more than fill a role. If you want to build real products, work directly with founders, and help create companies from scratch — we want to hear from you.

Venture Architect (Technical Lead)
The technical backbone of The Foundry. You will work directly with the founder and a small group of builders to design and build the first versions of new ventures.
The Role
We are looking for one person to take on this role.
You will become the technical backbone of The Foundry.
You will work directly with the founder and a small group of builders to design and build the first versions of new ventures.
You will also have direct access to the leadership teams of the businesses backing The Foundry. They provide operational insight, domain expertise, and real-world environments where new ventures can be built and tested.
Few technical roles offer this level of exposure.
What the Work Looks Like
A partner company presents an operational challenge with real economic value.
You help translate that opportunity into a technology product.
The first version is built quickly.
It is deployed inside the partner business.
If the solution proves valuable, it evolves into a venture.
At the same time, other opportunities are being explored.
Over time you will help build the technical foundations of multiple startups.
What We're Looking For
Someone who has been building software seriously for at least five years.
Strong full-stack capability — you can own a product end to end.
Comfortable with AI-native development. Using language models as a core part of how you build is not new to you.
Able to operate without perfect specifications. You find a way.
Curious about how businesses actually operate, not just how systems work.
Someone who takes ownership and does not wait to be told what to do.
What Makes This Role Different
You will not spend years maintaining a single product.
You will help build multiple ventures.
You will work directly with the founder of The Foundry and the leadership teams of some of Egypt’s most established businesses.
You will gain exposure not only to engineering decisions, but also to how technology companies are conceived, structured, and grown.
We are not just developing engineers here. We are developing founders.
If This Sounds Interesting
Send us your CV along with something you have built.
A product, a GitHub repository, or a project you are proud of.
We care far more about what you have created than the companies listed on your resume.
Venture Builder (Founding Operator)
This is not a job. This is building companies from zero. Work directly with the CEO to turn raw business problems into products, ship them, and help spin the winners into ventures.
The Role
You will work directly with the CEO to take raw problems from real businesses — manufacturing, education, logistics — and turn them into actual products within weeks.
You will build and launch MVPs yourself using AI-assisted development, test them with real customers from our investors’ companies, iterate fast or kill fast, and turn the ones that work into standalone ventures.
This is not theoretical.
You are expected to ship fast, make decisions with incomplete data, and own outcomes — not tasks.
Your Core Responsibilities
Problem → Opportunity. Break down messy business problems into buildable solutions. Identify what is actually worth building vs. noise.
Build & Launch. Build the MVP yourself. You are writing prompts, shipping code, and putting the product in front of users. No handoff to a dev team.
Commercialization. Turn MVPs into real use cases inside partner businesses. Get first revenue, not just “users.”
Venture Creation. Help decide: kill, pivot, or scale. If it works, help spin it into a company.
What This Is Not
Not consulting.
Not strategy decks.
Not innovation theater.
Not a dev shop — you are not taking feature requests, you are owning the product.
If you want structure, stop reading.
What We're Looking For
You have built something real — a product, a business, a side project. It does not matter which.
You understand both product and business.
You can think commercially, not just technically.
You move fast without waiting for permission.
You are comfortable being wrong and fixing it quickly.
You do not need to know AI coding tools on day one — we will teach you. But you need to want to build with them.
Bonus: experience in startups, consulting, or operations.
What You Get
A base salary, plus meaningful upside on the ventures that spin out.
Structure varies by venture — different bets, different shapes. If you need a fixed outcome defined upfront, this will not be a fit.
Three to five real shots at becoming a founding operator — with actual customers from day one — without betting everything on a single idea.
Most of what you build will be killed. A few things will work.
One might become a company where you are a founding operator with real equity.
That is the trade.
If This Sounds Interesting
Send us your CV along with something you have built or shipped — a product, a business, a side project.
Tell us what it was, what you decided, and what happened.
We care far more about what you have created than the titles on your resume.
